In the 1970s Manfred Lorinser started customizing Mercedes-Benz vehicles upon request of his clients. Drivers wanted vehicles to be tailored to their specific wishes. In 1981 Sport Service Lorinser GmbH was founded to exclusively focus on developing complete tuning solutions for Mercedes-Benz automobiles. While extensive conversions are offered, all work done is in keeping with the inherent style, design, look and feel of the original vehicle. Today Lorinser is recognized as the leading independent Mercedes-Benz tuner worldwide.

In 2008, Lorinser decided to take the ultimate step in customizing Mercedes-Benz vehicles and has added 3-piece forged wheels to their lineup. Forgiato is proud to announce that they have been chosen as the manufacturer. The New Lorinser 3 piece wheels are made with the same quality that is synonymous with the brand names of Forgiato and Lorinser.

The Lorinser FOR5 and FOR6 are custom built 3 piece forged wheels custom built in the United States using aerospace grade aluminum. Each wheel is custom built to perfectly fit any vehicle.
